That sensibility — beautifully explored by Carlo Amatetti in his article for Azione — stayed with me while creating this illustration. I based the drawing on one of Tati’s most iconic poses: the tilted silhouette, the umbrella as an extension of the body, and that pipe that seems to set the rhythm of the world. Since the commission required a horizontal format, I decided to build a figure that could breathe within the space without abrupt cuts.
