Watercolor Painting - puppies

This watercolor painting was a commission.  One important thing is

 to make the portrayed character make a connection with the viewer. 

 The look is key to achieve this and those big eyes made it easy for me. 

   I've always liked to draw animals...but pets have something special ;)
