Born in Newmarket, Ontario, Candy rose to fame as part of Toronto’s Second City troupe and the sketch comedy show SCTV , where his larger-than-life characters showcased his comedic genius.

MISHA 2024 - Festival CLAP Marciac 2024 - France

Je me souviens de cette soirée de 1980, devant le vieux téléviseur de la maison, alors que je regardais avec admiration cette cérémonie. Je me souviens surtout des adieux à la mascotte Misha, qui est montée au ciel dans la maison du film animé "UP." Ce n'était pas un adieu, mais un "à plus tard". Cette fois, l'ours a beaucoup changé en 44 ans. Oui, rien ne reste pareil.  Ce dessin, c'est le deuxième pour l'exposition collective au Festival de CLAP Marciac 2024. Le thème pour ces 20 ans est Tout feu toute flamme ! En lien avec le passage de la flamme à Marciac le 18 mai, 1er jour du Salon et l'année olympique.
